Droids released today!

Wow, Verizon just got decent phones! Not only decent, but looks to be some of the best! I picked up the full motorolla Droid. Its really useful and can do everything I couldnt in my Non-PDA phones they did have.

So far seems as it delivers like the site says (droiddoes.com) everything an Iphone can do and better!

Worst thing I've seen yet is the keyboard layout. A few say its too tight and hard to type on. Its kinda pokey, but cool with me. Kevin Perriera (G4TV) said he hated the directional pad combined with the touch screen. Thats silly in my opinion though... sometimes I have no way I can touch some spots on the screen, but I can select it with the pad w/o restriction! I like it alot!

Dissadia Review

Review of Dissadia - PSP

It started with a game called Ehrgeiz... As shown above.

Ehrgiz is a Squaresoft fighter that went terribly bad. It was great that you could be heros/bad guys from the Final Fantasy franchise. This is the continuation of that almost... lacking the Terrible content for most part.

Game:
Dissadia
System: PSP
Rating: 9/10
Replay Value: High
Collection Recommendation: MUST Buy

What is it?
Dissadia is SquareSoft's version of a Fighter/RPG. This time starring the who whole cast of Final Fantasy Heros and their Arch Villains. This is both done in Story as well as Ad-Hoc VS with other players. If you like Final Fantasy and action games you'll quite possibly like this, those who don't like level repetition won't be so happy.

Play/Control
The controll in this game takes a minute to get used to. At first I thought it was going to be terrible but I quickly got a hold of it and it ended up being pretty epic. Some areas get brutal and take a bit to actually win at, but this dosen't seem to be an issue since if you did quit, you maintain the same level that you were at and every fight adds to your XP and Level.

I personally don't prefer it but there was also the option to turn your controls to those like FFX where you choose moves but its live. "Command Mode" as they call it.

Multiplayer
The multi-player is cool for what I've seen of it. Unfortunately you have to find someone who has the game or battle player 'cards' which you do receive from the Moogles of the game but their crazy levels that are hard to even beat for awhile! Although it does come with cool features so that in the random chance that this game is really 'awesome' where you are you can walk around and when your PSP finds other PSPs that have the game running you'll swap cards!!

When is this supposed to happen though? I can't go ONLINE? What? That upset me.

Replayability

This is interesting because the Online kinda impacts this. Being Ad-Hoc only, I play less.... Though the game play is fun enough to compell you to keep playing. I can especially see this if you have friends that play. Like the other Final Fantasy RPGs you have an ever expanding skill list of really nice moves. They add all kinds of stuff you can unlock, alternate outfits, weapons, extra skill days. Many battles are really EPIC and cool, they have glowing rails that you can ride on, this makes it even better, so it preforms like fights in Advert Children. Then to step that up to the next level you can Record fights in AVI so you can post them online! I haven't seen yet how far Characters go, but looks like you could keep playing for quite awhile. To build on all that they also set up a Calender for those skill days and your favorite day of the week which compound your earnings and experience. :D Sounds like enough if I don't time to play it, to do a couple battles on Saturday to make up for it. I only know one person who has it currenly but I want to see how battles go with other 'friend cards', for their supposed to adapt and fight similar to the person you achieved it from.

Drama Pieces

If you want to know what makes this 9/10 other than no ONLINE, it would be this. Do you want to see your favorite Final Fantasy characters sob, cry, and be depressed more than ever, this is your chance. I couldn't stand the Drama Peices... they looked great they just made nothing into drama and like other FF stories the story is hard to grasp. Really cheesy and annoying. They also take up alot of time... one being played every time you beat the game. (FROM FF1-FF12 - Twelve times!)

Want Ububtu without the hassle?

Wow, I wanted the new 9.04 Ubuntu (Linux) thats coming out, so I grabbed the "Release Candidate" and of course as every other time I tried to install Linux for most part I had bad luck. I have now two, Linux coasters if someone is interested! lol... anyway knew there would be a way. So I looked around a bit and found WUBI (http://wubi-installer.org/) and nice! It removes the hassle of installing linux and doing all the partitioning. Its easy to uninstall if you change your mind later.

Now I have a great new copy of Ubuntu on my laptop! I love the open source goodness of Linux so I am excited. :D I haven't even really had to pop open the console, just once to set my Root pw info, but everythings running smooth without so far, now once I learn that I'll be good.

So if you ever wanted a easy way to get Linux to work or try it go check out - http://wubi-installer.org/

Testla model S!

Nice! Good to see new Tesla information coming out!

Tesla says the Model S will get about 240 miles per charge [on lithium-ion batteries] while still offering "exceptional performance." Numbers being bandied about include 0–60 mph in less than 6 seconds. The Model S will have a base price of about $60,000 (versus the Roadster's $109,000 price tag).

Happy Presidents Day!

"Two of my favorite things are sitting on my front porch smoking a pipe of sweet hemp, and playing my Hohner harmonica." - Abraham Lincoln (from a letter written by Lincoln during his presidency to the head of the Hohner Harmonica Company in Germany)

"Hemp is of first necessity to the wealth & protection of the country." - Thomas Jefferson, U.S. President

"Make the most you can of the Indian Hemp seed and sow it everywhere." - George Washington, U.S. President

"We shall, by and by, want a world of hemp more for our own consumption." - John Adams, U.S. President

"Penalties against possession of a drug should not be more damaging to an individual than the use of the drug itself; and where they are, they should be changed. Nowhere is this more clear than in the laws against possession of marihuana in private for personal use... Therefore, I support legislation amending Federal law to eliminate all Federal criminal penalties for the possession of up to one ounce of marihuana." - Jimmy Carter, U.S. President

"I inhaled frequently. That was the point." - Barack Obama, U.S. President

Woah this would help!

With Amaya, you can manipulate rich Web pages containing forms, tables, and the most advanced features from XHTML. You can create and edit complex mathematical expressions and graphics within Web pages. You can style your documents using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).

And its by the W3 so its all going to me correct valid code and I found a CSS editor, but that's all it was! Awesome!

www.w3.org/Amaya/

and even better yet...

and open source database lead me there... I love Open Source! :D
